应赵秀文教授的邀请，斯德哥尔摩大学法学院的高级讲师Patricia Shaughnessy与斯德哥尔摩商会仲裁院的同事将于11月6日（星期二）访问我院，并在当天上午9：40分在法学楼815房间举办有关斯德哥尔摩商会仲裁院及国际商事仲裁裁决的适用法律及时效等问题的演讲（仲裁院主席也可能来），然后与大家座谈，使用英文，没有翻译。

Patricia Shaughnessy是斯德哥尔摩大学国际商法硕士生导师，从事国际商法与国际经济法的教学与研究。    

DR. PATRICIA SHAUGHNESSY

Dr. Patricia Shaughnessy is the supervisor of the Master of International Commercial Law Program at Stockholm University and also teaches and researches in other related fields.  Prior to her academic career in Sweden , she spent ten years as a practicing attorney in the US , specialised in civil litigation and was an Adjunct Professor at the William S. Richardson School of Law, at the University of Hawaii . 

Following her doctoral studies, she served for one year as a US Supreme Court Judicial Fellow and worked with the Federal Judicial Center .  She has been appointed a Senior Fulbright Specialist, a Board member and the Chair of the Arbitration Section of the Stockholm Center for Comercial Law, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC), and is on the editorial board of the Stockholm International Arbitration Report.  She has been appointed as an arbitrator in international commercial disputes.  As a consultant, she has led numerous projects and carried-out assignments related to commercial dispute resolution ifor organisations such as the World Bank, the European Commission, SIDA and USAID.
